About these terms

These terms apply to your use of this website and to services provided by BeardyWeb. If your written quotation or agreement says something different, the quotation or agreement takes priority.

Prices and quotations

All prices are starting prices and depend on project requirements. Hosting, domain registration, ongoing maintenance and third-party subscriptions are charged separately unless specifically included in your quotation.

Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP). VAT charged if applicable. Every project is confirmed with a written quotation before work begins, and we'll only start once you've accepted it.

Complex functionality, e-commerce, booking systems and external integrations are quoted individually and are not included in package prices unless stated in your quotation.

Your content

You're responsible for providing the text, images, logos and other content for your website, and for making sure you have the right to use them. Delivery estimates start from when we've received all the content we need.

Revisions

Each package includes a set number of revision rounds, as described on our pricing page or in your quotation. Additional changes beyond those rounds, or changes to the agreed scope, may be quoted separately.

Payment

Payment terms, including any deposit and when the balance is due, will be set out in your quotation.

Search engines and results

We build websites with search-friendly foundations, but we can't control how search engines rank websites. We don't guarantee any particular ranking, traffic level or number of enquiries.

Third-party services

Hosting, domain names and other third-party tools are provided by their own suppliers under their own terms. Unless specifically included in your quotation, they're charged separately and we aren't responsible for their availability.

Ownership

Once your project has been paid for in full, you own the final website content and designs created specifically for you, except for any third-party materials (such as fonts, plugins or licensed images), which remain subject to their own licences. We may show completed work in our portfolio, but only with your permission.

Using this website

We try to keep the information on this website accurate and up to date, but it's provided for general information and may change. The BeardyWeb name, logos and illustrations belong to BeardyWeb and may not be reused without permission.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law. Otherwise, our total liability for any project is limited to the amount you've paid us for that project.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
